New Delhi, Feb 6 (IANS) Three brothers were brutally beaten up by the family of one of their relatives and their associates here Wednesday morning, said police. One of the brothers is critical, and another suffered gun-shot wounds.
Around a dozen people attacked Sanjay, 34, around 6 a.m. in east Delhi's Gokalpuri area, police said.
Sanjay's brothers Santarpal, 45, and Brijpal, 50, were also beaten up. Santarpal was shot in his leg by the attackers, who then fled.
"The trio were admitted to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital where Sanjay is reportedly in a critical condition. A case has been registered and a probe is on," police said.
The reason for the fight is not yet known, police added.
